5 Inspirational Traceuses

Badass Traceuses that Inspire

We all have someone who inspires us in our movement. Someone whose style leaves us in awe. Someone who, after watching their parkour video, makes us want to train twice as hard because we know that if they can do it then, with enough focus and persistence, so can we.

As a traceuse, there is nothing more inspiring than seeing other women moving with the same flow and strength that I strive for. In a world where men are thought to be the "strong" ones, these inspirational traceuses are challenging everything.

Listed here are a few of the traceuses that inspire me most, in no particular order.

Charlotte Chacatouille -- France

The first time I saw one of Charlotte's videos on Youtube, I was in awe. This traceuse moves with incredible fluidity, and her technique is beautiful. Just watch some of her precision jumps, cat leaps, wall run to climbs and other great sequences in this video. You'll see what I mean.

Isis Ribas -- Brazil

Isis is a skilled traceuse from São Paulo whose parkour showcases crazy speed and strong movementI started my parkour training while I was in Brazil, so the Brazilian female parkour community has a special place in my heart. Isis is a prime example of the strength and willpower that these ladies express!

Brandee Laird -- USA

Brandee has some strong technique, and she moves over obstacles with amazing speed and efficiency. I simply love her style. Her vaults and rail precision in this video are particularly impressive.

Tamila Benabdallah -- Canada

What I love most about Tamila's movement is that she never misses a step; she moves with complete confidence, making her parkour sequences incredibly fluid. Her "Tam With a Cam" video series is a great demonstration of her monstrous skills.

Luci Romberg -- USA

Luci's style includes a lot more free running than parkour, but I had to include her because she was my first inspiration. After watching Luci, I realized that women really can achieve anything they set their minds to concerning their movement.
